Sanje Widyaratne is a successful entrepreneur who started his career as an engineer in the aerospace and semiconductor industries.

Sanje has over 20 years of business leadership experience as a Chairman and CEO in the technology and agriculture sectors. As a Director, he brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of global business development and provides strategic direction to Atrad.

Sanje is at present the Chairman and CEO of Walters Bay, a direct-from-origin tea company that serves global markets.

Lakmini Wijesundera
Co-founder and Executive Director of IronOne Technologies

Lakmini brings over 25 years of strategic and technology management experience to Atrad and leads its global positioning and expansion strategies.

Amongst Lakmini's accolades for business achievements, she was named Entrepreneur of the Year by the Women's Chamber of Industries and Commerce in 2016. She was also selected as one of the top 50 most powerful women in Sri Lanka by Echelon Magazine. She is the first Sri Lankan to be selected to represent the nation in the prestigious EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women program in Asia Pacific.

Lakmini hold a MSc in Signal Processing and Communication Engineering from Imperial College, University of London in UK and a BSc in Computer Science and Electronic Engineering from University College London, University of London in UK.

Satyajit Seneviratne
Senior Vice President Business Development of Atrad

Satyajit has more than 25 years of experience in the capital markets automation sphere, having been a founder shareholder and the Head of Business Development at Millennium Information Technologies, which is part of London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). A key member of the strategic management team, his responsibilities included sales in emerging and frontier markets and enhancing the company’s global position and awareness as a leading provider of capital markets automation products.

Before joining Millennium Information Technologies, Satyajit was employed by Apple Inc. as an Engineering Project Manager.

Between 1990 and 1996 he served as the long-term computer specialist for the USAID funded Financial Markets Project in Sri Lanka. He was responsible for the initial and subsequent post-trade automation projects of the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) and the automated trading system for the CSE.

Satyajit began his career as a programmer analyst at the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. He holds an MS degree in Computer Engineering from Clemson University, South Carolina, USA and a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, USA.
